Maxwell Badu
Clinic Director and Head Nurse Injector
After spending several years in the medical field, Maxwell wanted to transition his career in an accessible way for his community. Alongside his wife and partner Gloria, they opened Renew Spa and Wellness Clinic in Markham Ontario; A place that is created to bring the best and most researched medical treatments and procedures to the Markham community.
Gloria Badu
Co-Owner and Human Resources Director
Gloria has always been a wellness enthusiast; she has practised the art of self-care and understands on a personal level the positive mental and physical impact that wellness has on the human body. Along with her husband and partner, Maxwell together they were able to combine their love for both complementary fields and create Renew Spa and Wellness Clinic.
Dr. Janaparan (Jay)
ND (Naturopathic Doctor)
Dr. Janaparan (Jay) is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor offering natural health treatments. Dr. Jay provides services for health concerns, cognitive & mental wellness, gut health, pain management, diabetes care, and digestive health to our clientele. His passion for naturopathic medicine began after being diagnosed with Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and Hashimoto’s disease. He found that his body responded well to Naturopathic medicine treatments.
Manika K
Registered Holistic Nutritionist
Manika, our resident registered Holistic Nutritionist, is a PCOS Expert, whole body cleanses specialist, Yoga Instructor & Founder of HolisticBuys based in Toronto, Canada. She aims to empower and support individuals through organic improvements in their overall health & lifestyle. Manika Provides specialized services such as detoxification, hormone management, weight management, wellness programs, one on one and family consultations.
Charline Thesenvitz
Clinic Manager and Medical Aesthetician
Charline Thesenvitz attended and studied at Marca College in Mississauga Ontario. She decided to continue her education at Look Academy where she specialized in laser courses for skin and facial treatments. Charline has been in the industry for nearly 5 years and is continually excited to learn new treatments and medical procedures that will help her clients.
Sheher Bano
Assistant Manger & Medical Aesthetician
Sherher Bano has an extensive history in the medical spa and wellness industry. She is a skincare veteran that will bring her expertise in advanced medical laser treatments for the body and face to all our Renew clientele.
Maria Matthews
Medical Aesthetician
Maria studied at Centennial College for Medical Aesthetics. She has been working in the beauty industry for four years, where she started out specializing in hair and lashes. Maria decided to expand her knowledge of skincare and fell in love with the industry. For the past two years, she has focused on advanced skin and body treatments. Maria’s passion for all things beauty related shines through in her personality. She will help you feel confident and beautiful in your own skin.
Aysha Varia
Medical Aesthetician
Aysha studied at the Canadian Beauty College, she specializes in microdermabrasion, various facial peels, and other skin treatments. As well, Aysha is known for her relaxing Indian head massage for our clientele. Aysha’s maternal nature will add to the inviting and ever so relaxing atmosphere at Renew.
Luting Zheng
Medical Aesthetician & RMT (Registered Massage Therapist)
Luting Zheng completed her Aesthetician and Spa Management program at Humber College. She has extensive knowledge of varying skin types, cosmetology, and skincare products. In addition, Luting has knowledge of skin care procedures and treatments such as facials, chemical peels and laser and hair removal. Luting is passionate about exploring the most natural treatments to help our clientele to have the most radiant, healthy-looking skin.
