IV THERAPY

Most IV bags contain a base fluid of Saline solution, which helps hydrate the body. The other fluids are dependent on what the IV Therapy is used for. 

At Renew, we have a variety of IV Therapy packages, each curated to perform differently. We offer the following drips: 

• Immune Vitamin Drip
• A vitamin drip that acts like a cold and flu booster improves immune health. 
• Radiance Vitamin Drip
• A vitamin drip enhances skin hydration leaving the skin looking radiant and refreshed. This drip aims to increase the skin’s elasticity, which helps prevent fine lines and wrinkles. 
• Booster Vitamin Drip
• A vitamin drip that leaves the body feeling refreshed and restored. The ultimate boost to help overall body immunity and health. 
• Energy Drip
• A vitamin drip that enhances your overall energy, mood, and focus. 
• Vitamin D Shots
• Shots of concentrated vitamin D will help maintain good bone density, teeth and can help with regulating insulin levels for those that have diabetes. 
• Vitamin B Shots 
• Shots of concentrated vitamin B will help maintain overall good health and wellbeing. 

You must consult with your doctor and our medical staff and inform us of all the medication you are on and any allergies to medicines as this may impact your side effects and or even make you ineligible for IV Therapy. 

Complications Include: 

After having a session of IV Therapy, the most common side effects are bruising, soreness, and possible infection if not properly cared for at the injection area. Other notable side effects include: 

• Rashes
• Blood Clots
• Air Embolism

Duration: The entire process will take around 45 minutes to an hour. 

1. Iv Therapy at Renew Spa and Wellness clinic begins with a thorough treatment walk-through. 
2. You will then be asked to lie back comfortably on one of our plush spa chairs. 
3. Typically, the injection is placed on your arm, but IV Therapy can be injected into other places – depending on the patient and their preference. 
4. Once the IV is inserted, the nurse will continuously ensure that the drip is feeding into your vein correctly. Once the fluid is inside your veins, it will directly absorb into your bloodstream. 
5. All we require is from you is to stay still, sit back, relax, and enjoy some reading material, the tv or chat with your nurse or staff on duty. 

1. You can apply a cold pack on the area of injection for 10 to 20 minutes at a time
2. Be gentle using the area around where the IV site for at least 1 to 2 days post treatments.
