What IS BOTOX®?
Botox is an injectable non-invasive medical substance used to treat headaches, excessive underarm sweating, wrinkles, fine lines, and other facial creases. Please note Botox is a brand name for the injectables made by Clostridium botulinum; other brand names include Dysport and Xeomin.

- Avoid alcohol and exercise for 12 hours
- Do drink plenty of water

Recovery time varies for each patient, but you can resume your daily functions immediately after the treatment.
Treatment Shelf life
Typically the results from a Botox injection will last about 3 to 6 months, depending on your skin and how it holds the injection. We suggest frequently coming to Markhams Renew Spa and wellness clinic to maintain your desired look.
Treatment Frequency
Botox® can last 3-4 months, but we suggest scheduling a touch-up sooner.
